Due to the stormy weather this morning, our internet service was intermittently cutting on and off. As a result, we will need to postpone 5th grade FAST testing to ensure students have a smooth and uninterrupted testing experience.
The updated testing schedule is as follows:
• ELA FAST – Friday, May 8
• Math FAST – Monday, May 11
• Science FAST – Thursday, May 14
Thank you for your understanding and flexibility. We appreciate your continued support as we work to provide the best testing environment possible for our students.

Due to mechanical issues, bus 404 students are now on bus 532. There will be a slight delay. The bus left CES at 2:25pm.

We will celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week May 4th-8th and invite your support. We have created a sign-up list where families can choose how they would like to contribute. Options include donating gift cards, small items, or helping sponsor a meal or treat for our staff. Simply select an item that works best for you—every contribution makes a difference.
Sign up here: https://signup.com/go/VKPKYWf
All donations will be recognized on our school Facebook page, newsletter, and throughout the week. Thank you for helping us celebrate our amazing CES staff!
With appreciation,

Good Afternoon CES Families,
We have two exciting events coming up and wanted to make sure you have all the details!
💜 **Purple Up! Day**
Join us as we honor and support our military children by wearing purple! This special day is a wonderful opportunity for our school community to show appreciation for the strength and sacrifices of military families.
🍧 **Kona Ice Day**
Students will also have the opportunity to enjoy a refreshing Kona Ice treat! This is always a favorite event, and we’re excited to bring a little extra fun to our campus.
Please take a moment to review the attached flyers for important details regarding both events, including dates, pricing, and participation information.
Thank you for your continued support in making CES such a special place for our students!

This is Mrs. Looze, Assistant Principal of Chumuckla Elementary School, with an important message for parents and families. We conducted a lockdown drill at school today as part of our regular emergency drill process as required by state law. We know that drills can cause possible concerns for our students, but we believe it’s important for them to know exactly what to do in an emergency and these practice drills enhance their safety. Again, all students are safe, and this was simply a required lockdown drill. Thank you for your understanding and support.

Hello CES Families,
Kona Ice is coming on 03/26/26. We are using an online payment system to simplify the process and make things easier on our staff. Please copy and paste the link into your browser to pay, or use the attached QR code.
Event Link:

- If you would like to provide a Kona for another student, please select the "Pay It Forward" option, and add the item to the cart. You may purchase as many as you like, but please select each Kona Ice separately (select one, then add to cart, then select next one and add to cart, and so on and so on....)!
- Please have your order in by 03/24/26!!!!
- If you have any questions about the prepay system contact guynfrank@kona-ice.com. We encourage you to not send cash. Pay online! It's super easy! (Of course, we will accept cash at the truck, but paying online eliminates the possibility of your child losing the money before they get to the truck.)

Please be reminded that Cap & Gown photos for Kindergarten and 6th grade, as well as Spring Pictures for all students, will take place tomorrow. Your child will bring home the form today. Price packages apply to both Spring and Cap & Gown photos. If you are purchasing both for Kindergarten and 6th grade, kindly indicate this on your form.
Thank you.

Please join us this weekend for Santa Rosa County's Help Me Thrive event! Pass the word along to anyone you know!

Good Morning CES Families,
Thank you for your understanding. Picture day for Spring and cap/gown photos, originally scheduled for tomorrow, will be rescheduled to a later date. We will send more information soon, including the new date and ordering packets that will come home with students.
We apologize for any inconvenience. Thank you, and have a wonderful day.
